Spring-Ford 7, Phoenixville 0 >> The Rams swept through singles play on the way to their PAC victory over the Phantoms Tuesday.
The doubles ladder of Cady Krause, Isabel Mejia and Riley Burke won by 6-0, 6-0 counts at first through third singles. Phoenixville’s best showings came at first and second doubles, where Peyton Carr/Nicky DeLuca and Caroline Schwartz/Annie Absher each won four games.
Methacton 6, Upper Merion 1 >> The Warriors won all but one match in the PAC win Tuesday. Iren Biju, in third singles, and the doubles teams of Hanna Kim/Katie Chan and Siani Ford-Barkley/Shrindhi Danibhotla were the standouts, winning all but one game in their matches. Upper Merion’s Rhea Desai won in first singles for the Vikings’ lone point.
Boyertown 7, Norristown 0 >> The Bears dropped just three games through the lineup in their PAC sweep of the Eagles on Tuesday.
Abbey Green and Olivia Vangeli headed the Boyertown showing with their respective 6-0, 6-0 showings at first and third singles. Norristown’s best individual effort came at second singles, where Andrea Ritter won a pair of games.
Upper Perkiomen 6, Pottstown 1 >> Strong play by two doubles teams helped the Indians handle the Trojans in Tuesday’s PAC match.
Sylvia Cleary and Olivia Sharadin won at second doubles, 6-0, 6-0, and the first doubles duo of Carly Jenkins and Shelby Livingston also took their first doubles contest in two 6-0 sets. Naomi Parson had Pottstown’s lone point, a 6-3, 7-6 (5) win at second singles.
Perkiomen Valley 7, Pope John Paul II 0 >> The Vikings dropped just four games in doubles play on the way to a PAC sweep of the Golden Panthers Tuesday.
PV’s fourth doubles team of Sarah Zellke and Kayla Nassoly took its match in a pair of 6-0 sets. PJP’s best individual showings came in singles action, Veronica Marinari and Tess Crossan each winning five games at the first and third spots, respectively.
Perkiomen School 4, Barrack Hebrew 1>> A sweep of the singles bracket made the difference for the Panthers in their Tri-County League match with Barrack Hebrew.
Emma Schultz’s 6-0, 6-0 win at second singles was the best individual showing for Perkiomen, whose other victories in the singles ladder came from Julia Kelly in the first spot and Kate Galant in the third. Marie Rudolph and Helena Balzer added the final point at first doubles.
