Cady Krause, the league’s champion, led at first singles alongside fellow District 1-AAA qualfiers Isabel Mejia and Riley Burke. Pottsgrove’s best individual showing came at first singles, where Mya Krueger won six games.
Phoenixville 5, Upper Perkiomen 2 >> The Phantoms took three of four doubles duels in straight sets Tuesday on the way to a PAC victory over the Indians.
Phoenixville’s best individual showing came at second singles, where Michelle Richter won 6-1, 6-0. For UP, Maddy Gochnauer had a tiebreaker win at first singles before Sianni Camarata and Makenna Phipps won at fourth doubles.
Boyertown 4, Upper Merion 3 >> A sweep of the singles bracket proved vital for the Bears to get past the Vikings in Tuesday’s PAC match.
Olivia Vangelli’s 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles was the individual highlight for Boyertown. UM took two of the doubles in tiebreakers, the third in three sets.
Pope John Paul II 5, Owen J. Roberts 2 >> Vernoica Marinarri, Cara Semach and Tess Crossan swept the singles matches in PJP’s PAC win on Tuesday.
The doubles teams of Kayla Ciuba/Kelly Paris and Sydney Farnsworth/Arianna McGrory picked up PJP’s other two points.
Jordan Sylvia/Allie Iyoob and Alexis Carr/Claire Feltenberger scored for OJR.
Perkiomen Valley 5, Methacton 2 >> In a PAC match where only two duels were decided in straight sets, the Vikings rode their sweep of the singles bracket to victory.
Kay Mahon scored a 6-3, 6-2 victory at second singles to lead PV. Methacton’s best individual showing was the 6-0, 6-3 win Hannah Kim and Katie Chan scored at second doubles.
